We have the most experience working with hardwood oak flooring, one of the most standard and durable flooring materials in Chicago-land houses over the past century. 3/4-inch hardwood oak is still in demand today. This material can be refinished multiple times, and it allows small sections to be repaired, without the hassle of replacing an entire room’s worth of flooring.

If part of your flooring looks gouged or cracked, or if it shows signs or water damage or rot, we can likely repair it. If the floor feels mushy or sounds squeaky underfoot (common with older hardwood floors), we can stabilize the flooring and reduce the squeak. As part of many flooring jobs, we also install trim along the edges of your floor, as well as the transition pieces on the floor between rooms.
